First post of the New Year

So I've been super lazy over Christmas and done absolutely nothing worth putting on here, but now it's back to the real world. Here's the first thing I've done since coming back to uni, it's for our Face-to-Face project; in which we have to draw a face with the mouth in a certain position. I'm not sure if I'll submit this one though.

Animations

I have recently been working on 2 animations, one of a skeleton for our christmas panto and the other as an ode to a banana that we named in a lecture (called Larry). I have managed to finish both now and I'm quite pleased with the results, however my favourite piece is the titles to the "Ode to Larry". These are simply made using motion tween in flash with different shapes, but I feel the outcome is quite interesting. You can view them here:

Better Res City Poster

Decided to upload the scanned version, as the resolution's a bit better and such.

Finished Poster

Finally finished my city poster. I handed it in like this but changed the black to a teal colour, however I'll have to wait for the poster to be printed before I can show it because I've lost my flashdrive. Scanning it in was interesting, I used and A4 scanner and pieces it together on Photoshop, which created a 1.21gb file that I then merged layers on and live traced. Lucky for me quad cores exist and RAM is getting bigger all the time.

City poster update.

This city poster is currently eating up my life. All I seem to be doing is making characters, when I close my eyes all I can see is them. Still, I'm confident when it is finished it will all be worth it and I've already selected a four colour palette, though it may change so I won't show it just yet.

Banana man.

One of my friends bought a "chipolata banana" and I just had to give it the same face as the bananas in my mega doodle. She named him Larry.

We got started on making our book project the other day and bound the case that will encompass the three books of each city.

City Poster!

I'm roughly just under halfway through my city poster now, that is everything from drawing it to adding colour. As such, I thought I'd post a pic of it to give you an idea of how it's going to look. Still got a good few hours of work left to do on it, but here's what I got so far. And the theme is population by the way.
